What exactly is hemp?
“Hemp” is another name for the Cannabis sativa plant and its products. This same species of plant is also called marijuana.
Hemp and marijuana do not come from the same plant. They are both parts of the cannabis family but each plant has distinct differences.

No Medical Card Needed!
How hemp is grown compared to marijuana is an important difference.
Hemp is usually grown outdoors. Medical Marijuana is typically grown in large warehouses using extremely high amounts of electricity (for intense lighting and massive A/C and ventilation systems) and water.

Great Benefits For Pets
Is it safe to give my pets marijuana?
No! Marijuana has a very high amount of THC which is extremely dangerous to give to your pets. Medical marijuana is psychoactive which can cause psychotic events or static attacks when consumed by pets. Because of this, it’s important that when buying CBD Hemp Oil products you ensure the hemp oil is not being extracted from a marijuana hybrid hemp plant.
Be sure to use a CBD Hemp Oil product that is non-psychoactive and will not get your pets “high” or stoned.” Do "NOT" use a full spectrum CBD product!
OK...What is Cannabis sativa?
Cannabis sativa is a species of the Cannabaceae family that includes both marijuana and hemp varieties. Thriving in warmer weather, Sativa strains originated in the countries located on or near the equator, such as Colombia, Mexico, Thailand, and Southeast Asia
Hemp is a member of the Cannabis sativa L species of plant (just as marijuana is). Hemp is harvested commercially for its seeds and stalk, which are used to manufacture a number of products:
Body care products
OK...What is marijuana?
Marijuana—also called weed, herb, pot, grass, bud, ganja, Mary Jane, and a vast number of other slang terms—is a greenish-gray mixture of the dried flowers of Cannabis sativa.
The main psychoactive (mind-altering) chemical in marijuana, responsible for most of the intoxicating effects that people seek, is delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). The chemical is found in resin produced by the leaves and buds primarily of the female cannabis plant. The plant also contains more than 500 other chemicals, including more than 100 compounds that are chemically related to THC, called cannabinoids

OK... IS THE CBD OIL MADE FROM HEMP LEGAL IN ALL 50 STATES?
If it’s under .3% THC content then it’s hemp and is classified as legal for academic and educational purposes, according to federal law. What is commonly referred to as cannabis (or medical marijuana) contains THC levels above .3% and can extend into levels between 15-30% THC. Remember, THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) is the psychoactive component of cannabis. Without these higher THC levels, there are no psychoactive effects for you.
Technically, NO... Click: FIXGOV

How to Make Sure Your CBD Oil is Legal and of High Quality
As CBD consumption is on the rise, many have concerns about the quality and purity of their products. Without FDA regulations in place, making sure your CBD oil is legal and of high quality is essential. CBD is a non-psychoactive substance. It curtails the mental effects of THC, thereby allowing the medicinal effects to work on a grander scale. And it also has a multitude of benefits all on its own. However, the DEA has recently made many people nervous by talking about CBD restrictions. So how can people know if the CBD they acquire is legal? They simply have to check the source, and it’s clear sailing from there on out. This is what I have done, to obtain CBD products that are legal across all fifty states, meaning that their products are always safe to use.
Top 3 things to look for before buying CBD oil online:
* Third-party Lab Results
* Making sure the source uses CO2 Extraction (Petroleum- Free Processing) The use of emu oil or refined coconut oil is a plus
* Less than .03% THC

Since the 1996 enactment of the first state law allowing the medical use of cannabis, 25 states and the District of Columbia have enacted such laws; another 17 allow products that are high in cannabidiol (CBD) and low in THC (tetrahydrocannabinol). In the past several years, interest has focused on the therapeutic potential of CBD, one of the plant's major cannabinoids. Many cannabis and CBD products are available in dispensaries and over the internet. However, none of these artisanal preparations (irrespective of THC content) has been approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for safety or efficacy, and state laws requiring quality control are inconsistent and sometimes nonexistent. Controlled clinical trials are underway to investigate the use of CBD as a potential treatment for several types of seizure disorders.
Hmmm...Is it legal for my use and to share the suppliers of this CBD Oil?
The products on this site are LEGAL in all 50 states:
Only by State Laws. Not Federal "YET"
MANY companies, including most on the internet, only have CBD oil that is 20-40% actual CBD, the rest is 'filler' meaning chemicals or other products such as glycerin, coconut oil, sunflower oil. The use of emu oil or refined coconut oil is a plus, these are what makeup of the other 60-80%!

TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR
If you take other medications, make sure that you mention your new CBD habit to your doctor. CBD can interact with certain drugs, including benzodiazepines and anti-depressants, says Jeff Chen, M.D., director of the UCLA Cannabis Research Initiative.
Check out a product’s other ingredients too, says Joel Greengrass, CEO of Theramu, a company that makes CBD oils and creams. Look for emu oil or refined coconut oil; they can penetrate your skin and deliver CBD to aching muscles. Olive oil can’t do this, so products made with it are basically just very good moisturizers, says Greengrass.
Topical and edible CBD products have been researched more than stuff like vaginal suppositories that claim to ease cramps (yes, those products really do exist!), so you’re better off sticking to stuff you can swallow or slather on your skin, says Bonn-Miller.
Devotees whisper about CBD as a soothing remedy for racing thoughts and aching extremities. CBD for those restless nights. Also, somehow, CBD for those listless mornings.
Suddenly, you can find sugar-coated CBD gummies to gnaw on, and balms to rub onto pulse points. There's CBD for your dog (gluten-free and pumpkin-flavored!) and CBD for your aching feet. You can buy bottled CBD water in trendy, seasonally-driven fast-casual restaurants, and bags of CBD-laced coffee in shops on busy thoroughfares in Washington, Colorado Springs, Las Vegas and dozens of other cities.
Hemp may not get you high, but it can do pretty much anything else you can imagine. This low-THC variant of the cannabis plant has a dizzying array of uses, including everything from food to medicine to rope to bricks and more—somebody even made a sports car out of hemp.
That's not surprising. Complicated and controversial, cannabis is revealed by recent science to have a dual personality, with a dark side and a more positive one. Key to understanding this strange plant are two of the ingredients that make it up, known by their initials as THC and CBD.
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Hmm...That is interesting. So, the oil from Cannabis Sativa Plant can be refined into an oil known as CBD, and is quite beneficial to my good health.
In a way, THC and CBD are a bit like yin and yang. The THC makes you stoned, but it can also make you anxious. It can also make you feel a bit psychotic, and it will seriously impair your memory.
"The other side of the yin/yang is CBD, which has almost the opposite effects. CBD calms you down, it has anti-psychotic properties and it also offsets the effects on memory, so that on CBD-containing cannabis you're less likely to forget what's going on."
1a : a tall widely cultivated Asian herb (Cannabis sativa of the family Cannabaceae, the hemp family) that is cultivated for its tough bast fiber and edible seeds and oil and that is often separated into a tall loosely branched species (C. sativa) and a low-growing densely branched species (C. indica)
b : the fiber of hemp
—often used before another noun
Hemp is the fiber and seed part of the Cannabis Sativa L. plant, as opposed to the flower part of the plant which is “legally considered” marijuana. The fiber and seeds are of incredible value and this is why hemp is often called a “cash crop”. Hemp is a very hearty plant and grows very quickly in very diverse soil conditions. Cultivation of hemp for industrial purposes has been done by many civilizations for over 12,000 years. Industrial hemp was the desired fiber used to manufacture rope, canvas, paper, and clothing until alternative textiles and synthetics for these purposes were discovered. Although China has been the largest hemp producer over the years, other countries such as Australia and Canada are catching up. It has been illegal for anyone to grow hemp in the United States as hemp is illegal under the marijuana prohibition act but, Colorado has changed the laws and paved the way for industrial hemp production again in the United States. Now hemp oils, hemp plastics, hemp building materials, and many hemp fiber products can be seen and purchased on the market (eg...clothing, Hemp Textiles, Hemp Twine, Hemp Rope, Hemp Webbing, Hemp Fiber ). Hemp is truly an amazing plant with the potential to help “green up” many industries. There are so many Hemp products on the market today!
Cannabis Sativa is an annual herbaceous flowering plant indigenous to eastern Asia but now of cosmopolitan distribution due to widespread cultivation. It has been cultivated throughout recorded history, used as a source of industrial fiber, seed oil, food, recreation, religious and spiritual moods and medicine. Each part of the plant is harvested differently, depending on the purpose of its use. The species was first classified by Carl Linnaeus in 1753
* Cannabis Sativa Plant *
Ok, let’s get started. The theory is simple here. The cannabis plant secretes an oil. We want to get that oil off the plant and into a concentrated form.
* Starting Material
Let’s begin with the starting material because that is the shortest, easiest point to make. Cannabis oil (THC or CBD, doesn’t matter for this explanation) can be produced using a variety of plant material: sticks and stems, flowers, trim and shake.
Now, we can make different oils from each of these different starting plant materials and they will all look almost identical. They’ll be a tinted brown color and are usually found in a 1-milliliter syringe, but the contents of each are very different. Only premium flowers (actual buds) from the female cannabis plant are sufficient in creating oils for strict protocols such as the Rick Simpson Oil Formula, which is typically used for serious conditions and consumed by oral ingestion rather than smoking. We’ve heard of THC oil consumed in many ways: smoked in a vape pen, swallowed from an oral syringe, applied topically on the skin, anal suppository, vaginal suppository and the list goes on. For most vape products or concentrates for smoking, trim or shake is typically used because it is the cheapest plant material available. Trim or shake typically costs only $100-$200 per pound while actual premium flowers can cost $2,000-$3,000 per pound. This difference in cost of the starting material dictates the cost of the end product. Vape or concentrate oils can be found for $40-$65 per gram typically. Flower or bud only formulas typically cost around $80-$100 per gram.
* Extraction Method
In the picture, you can see examples of three different methods used to produce marijuana oils. Each has its pros and cons depending on how you plan to consume it.
Distilled Method | The distilled method results in the highest purity achieving 95% plus purity. This rids the oil of many of the other features such as natural plant oils and characteristics to preserve the THC for maximum potency. This removes the other cannabinoids, plant waxes, and fats, as well as chlorophyll leaving only THC or CBD, depending on which variety of oil you are making.
Co2 Method | The Co2 method typically results in the lowest potency of THC or CBD and has a large concentration of plant waxes and fats, with little chlorophyll. This method leaves an amber color.
RSO Method | The RSO method preserves a small number of plant waxes and fats while also containing chlorophyll which is what gives it it’s dark color. With proper attention, these oils can achieve over 90% potency. There are many examples of poor quality RSO oils that we have seen that only test 30-40% potency. This is why it's important to have a lab test showing the contents and the purity.
